Paolo Scheggi, an Italian artist known for his monochromic art work.

Scheggi technique of super imposing over lapping canvases, with carefully constructed circular-shaped voids makes one perceive not the voids but the light, shadow and the space that is created, and the relationship between void and form. His monochromic work known as Intersuperfici and Strutture Modulari.

His work illustrates the theories of perceptual psychology, visual cognition and optics.
